SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
We are looking for two new Software Developers to join our Pacific Alliance Technologies team!

Intermediate Software Developer
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned self-starter who is looking to make major contributions to our line of software products. As part of our development team, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills to extend our line of iVAULT web-mapping products.
Responsibilities
- Software development
- Design user interfaces
- Debugging and testing code
- Problem solving
- Work with clients to understand their needs and build customized software enhancements
- Train team members and share knowledge
- Research and development; strategic product planning
- Prepare technical documentation and system architecture diagrams
- Travel to client sites to promote, demonstrate, and optimize software products
Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of software development experience
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent education in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Proven experience in web development and technologies such as HTML5, CSS, AJAX, XML, JavaScript
- Proven software development experience in C# and .NET
- Relational database experience with SQL Server (Oracle an asset)
- Proven ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and can work both independently and in a team
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- GIS experience (ESRI or Autodesk) is an asset but not required
- Mobile and JQuery development experience is an asset but not required
Junior Software Developer
This is an entry level position and ideal for an enthusiastic individual who wants wide exposure to various aspects of software development. We are looking for a positive, motivated, and disciplined programmer who will work with more senior developers and is willing to tackle any challenge. This is an ideal position for a budding developer who wants to progress with our company.
